today was my bro's birthday. happy birthday! hes cool. he taught me all the stuff i needed to know.
so we went with the family to this bloody posh steakhouse at Mortons of Chicago. oh crap it was nice. The chef who attended to us treated us like friends. he seated us at the table, gave us the bloody nice baked onion bread thingie, introduced us to the menu of the day, by bringing out all the available steaks(not cooked yet lah, of course[i think]) on a trolley. not bad service. he even sang my bro a birthday song :/ 10/10 for service.
so i ordered this newyork strip steak. i was expecting some small puny portion but lo and behold, they gave me one which was, i shit you not, at least 2.5cm thick, and 20cm long. i was :O :O :O. hahha medium well is gooood (: my dad ordered some salmon which was quite nice as well.
for desserts, we ordered sugary confection with pudding in it which melted in your mouth. sakdfjasklfs. my bro got a chocolate cake with hot melted chocolate in it. very nice.
but guess what the best part of the food was :D
