First day of work! found out pay was less than expected though. sigh.
And of all people to meet there, IT WAS ANDREW WANG. what the hell. and he was wearing his prefect tie LOL. nice tie. stop saying nice. how about nice?
anyway, the receptionist was quite nice, she gave the both gen and I a pen. but the garden outside(yeah, there was a rooftop garden) was locked. photo opportunity lost.
the two lawyers we were working under are quite nice people. and we didnt do any work today! we spent the whole day in court. 6 hours. crazy. but it wasnt all that bad. lawyers were shouting at witnesses, witnesses were getting pissed. the best was:
Witness: Well, you gotta have fall-back plans, and thats how we run things at my company, which im proud of (something like that)
Lawyer: Then i surely wouldn't *my* company to be run like *that*.
The audience (correct word?) laughed like shit. HAHA. i fell asleep once and the guard woke me up. how embarassing. to pass the time, the three of us played tic tac toe and a stick game. and that fool andrew wang dropped a screw he took out of the toilet and dropped it four stories. NICE BOOM AT THE BOTTOM. there was also a gay guy with boobs, i promise you.
We had lunch at Lau Pa Sat and dinner at subway. yum. sigh, work tmr again. good luck o lvl people! :D
